Her relentless pursuit of control has left a nightmarish path of ruin, with death tolls estimated in the unfathomable duotrigintillions.
Vireya is no ordinary conqueror, her might is the product of an ancient and sacred heritage. As the direct descendant of a Celestial, she carries within her veins a primal force that comes from a time where they were still mostly alive and did nothing but destroy and kill, her power further enhanced by the formidable traits of her species.
Her story begins in the luminous and energetic world of Animatronica, a vibrant, diverse realm home to beings of extraordinary power. Many of its inhabitants were seasoned warriors, possibly strong enough to disrupt entire galaxies with sheer force. They were feared not merely for what they were, but for what they could become.
And so, the fate of Animatronica was sealed.
The cataclysm that annihilated her home was orchestrated by none other than Cora, an ancient, calculating Celestial who deemed them too dangerous to be left alive.
After engaging its warrior elite in an apocalyptic clash, Cora took a final and rather brutal step, entering the planet’s solar system and unleashing a barrage from the asteroid belt, hurling debris with merciless intent until Animatronica was reduced to ashes and craters. The planet was left scorched, nearly uninhabitable, its once-thriving ecosystems collapsed under toxic air and shattered skies. Within mere weeks, most non-warrior natives died from the unlivable conditions whilst most if not all died from the first impact Only a handful survived, battle-hardened warriors who narrowly endured the Celestial’s wrath from his direct encounter.
Vireya was among them.
She emerged from a cavernous refuge, groggy, unaware of the apocalyptic destruction around her, only to discover her home was gone. What greeted her was not the world she remembered, but smoldering remains and silence. The weight of loss carved something monstrous in her heart.
