Sakura vs Ghostface is an upcoming short film that directly follows the events of Friday Night Funkin': CxB and marks the first official spin-off of the main CxB mythos main storyline outside of FNF, expanding on Sakura's story prior to the events of the mod itself.
The film will run for approximately 25 minutes and introduces CxB's take on Ghostface, a demonically enhanced serial killer armed with an angelic hunting knife. This version of Ghostface is a former member of the Cabal, a Multiversal group of notorious killers from various timelines before their own eventual demise.
Development for the film began in August 2024, with early discussions exploring a mix of live-action and 2D animation to emphasize the Multiverse aspect. It will be available to watch for free on YouTube.
